The Sony FE 600mm F4 GM OSS is a super telephoto lens for the company’s full-frame mirrorless camera. It has three fluorite, one ‘extreme aspherical’ and three ED elements and uses two ‘XD’ linear autofocus motors to drive the focusing group. The lens has a Nano AR coating to reduce ghosting and flare and a fluorine coating to repel oil and moisture. It has an 11-blade aperture, a minimum focus distance of 4.5m and a maximum magnification of 0.14x. This weather-sealed lens has linear manual focus response, four customizable focus-hold buttons and three IS modes. It supports 40.5mm drop-in filters and supports Sony’s 1.4x and 2x teleconverters.
