Manufacturer description
The Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN is a premium standard zoom lens for Sony E and Panasonic/Leica/Sigma L-mount. The lens has 19 elements, including low dispersion (FLD), special low dispersion (SLD) and aspheric glass. It has both ‘Super Multi-Layer’ and ‘Nano Porous’ coatings to reduce flare.
The lenses uses a stepping motor to drive its focus group, and it supports features like eye detection without issue. The minimum focus distance of the lens is 18cm, with a maximum magnification of 0.34x. The lens is weather-sealed, has a brass bayonet mount and supports 82mm filters. A locking lens hood is included.
