The Nikon Nikkor Z 800mm F6.3 VR S is the longest super telephoto lens Nikon has made thus far for its Z mount lens lineup. Despite its super telephoto focal length, the lens is rather compact and lightweight thanks to the use of a Phase Fresnel lens element.
Specifically, the lens measures 140mm (5.6in) in diameter by 385mm (15.2″) long and weighs only 2.4kg (5lbs 4.2oz). The lens’ image stabilization is CIPA-rated for up to 5 stops and up to 5.5 stops when used with the Synchro VR on Nikon’s Z9 camera.
