Manufacturer description
The Leica APO-Summicron-SL 28mm F2 ASPH is a wide-angle prime for full-frame L-mount bodies. The lens features 13 elements, 6 of which are aspherical. The minimum focus distance is 0.24m (9.5″) and the maximum magnification is 0.2X. The focus group is driven by a stepping motor, which Leica calls ‘Dual Syncho Drive’. As one would expect from a high-end lens, the 28mm F2 is sealed against moisture and dust, and has an ‘Aquadura’ coating to repel water and grease.
